My focus when training is on the relationship and communication of the team (dog and human) not on simply teaching your dog skills.
Here are a few more guidelines to help you decide if I’m the right trainer for you…
If you think your dog needs to be corrected or punished, I’m not your trainer.
If you want your dog to do things simply because “dogs are supposed to” and be something they’re not, I’m not your trainer.
If you want your dog to be seen and not heard, and blindly obey you, I’m not your trainer.
If you want to be your dog’s pack leader or dominate your dog, I’m not your trainer.
If you want to silence your dog, I’m not your trainer.
If you want a quick fix that doesn’t take your dog’s needs into account, I’m not your trainer.
If you want rapid results, by any means necessary, and without concern for the behavior fallout of those means, I’m not your trainer.
If you want to understand your dog better, and help make them as happy and comfortable as possible, learn about how they learn and communicate, improve your relationship with them, build respect for each other, and have the time of your life while doing so, I’m your trainer.
I’m not here to shut dogs down or to silence them, I’m here to lift them up and teach humans to hear their voices.
Trust, respect, understanding, love, compassion and communication are the building blocks of my training.
